Carmen Overview
Carmen is an application server driven by RDF, N3, OWL and SPARQL and based on Twisted.
Its goals are:
- minimality
- multiple RDF back-end compatibility
- ease of configuration and extensibility via SPARQL and Semantic Web ontologies
2007-03-30 - Carmen 0.1.1 released
This is the first release of Carmen, it is very much a work in progress but it already has some basic web functionality mapped to RDF terms:
- redirect
- reverse proxy
- static content
- CGI
- virtual hosts
- cookie sessions
- multiple authentication realms
- simple RDF-driven website
- simple visual website manager (CMS) powered by Tabulator
